Peering
BittenBytes is present on a number of Internet Exchanges where we maintain an open peering policy.
For Internet Exchanges where we are already exchanging routes through route servers, we prefer to keep configuration minimal and rely on route servers for peering. If you do not peer with route servers, we are happy to set up direct BGP peering sessions.
For any peering sessions we consider the following:
- We set up BGP sessions on all mutual Internet Exchanges, unless discussed otherwise;
- We set up BGP sessions both for IPv4 and IPv6, unless discussed otherwise;
- You have a valid PeeringDB entry for your ASN.
The PeeringDB entry for BittenBytes can be found at: https://www.peeringdb.com/asn/213052
Peering request
To request a peering session, send an e-mail to peering[at]as213052.net with a link to your PeeringDB page and the IX you would like to peer with us on.
Routing policy
- Internet Exchanges are preferred over transit;
- The higher the bandwidth to an IX, the higher the local-preference;
- We drop RPKI Invalid routes.
